Jordan Espedal

FACILITIES MANAGER

Jordan serves as the Facilities Manager at the Stephen & Laurel Brown Foundation, where he ensures that every guest is welcomed into a space that is clean, safe, and hospitable. A natural cleaner, organizer, and helper, he brings a thoughtful, service-oriented approach to creating environments where others can thrive.

Jordan holds a BA in Liberal Studies from UW–Superior. His diverse professional background includes post-construction cleaning management, prairie restoration work, hotel hospitality, and eleven years as Lead Custodian in the Sun Prairie School District. During his time there, he was named the Wisconsin Association of Business Officials’ Custodian and Maintenance Professional of the Year. For over thirteen years, he has also provided respite care for a family with a disabled son—work that continues to shape his compassion and grounded presence.

Driven by a desire for meaningful work, Jordan is grateful to contribute to the vibrant SLBF community and sees his role as part of a deeper vocational calling. Outside of work, he can often be found enjoying audiobooks and podcasts—he’s on a mission to listen to every episode of This American Life. He also teaches improv comedy to junior-high students, loves tending a campfire with a good book and a cold beverage, and relishes quiet evenings at home with his wife and kids.
