Blackhawk College

Blackhawk College Ministry is a dynamic community for undergraduates, graduates, and college-aged individuals to connect and grow together. Whether you join us for our Sunday services, attend our weekly Tuesday Night gatherings, participate in a Community Group, or engage in our various events, we strive to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and supported throughout their college experience. No matter where you are on your faith journey, you belong here!
Consortium of Christian Study Centers
Upper House is a member of the Consortium of Christian Study Centers along with almost 40 Christian Study Centers across North America.
Christian Study Centers (CSCs) are communities of students and scholars rooted in the ideal of faith seeking understanding. They complement the university by creating space to explore questions of meaning, purpose, and value, helping people integrate faith with their studies, work, and vocation.
CSCs also engage university life through partnerships, conversations, symposia, conferences, and faculty gatherings. Through these spaces, they foster thoughtful exchange, hospitality, and care for others while contributing to the common good.
The Consortium fans the flame of the study center movement by providing consulting, training, and other resources to dozens of Christian Study Centers located at universities throughout North America.

John Templeton Foundation
The SL Brown Foundation had been privileged to take a leading role in the Higher Pursuits Project 2.0 (HPP 2.0)
As one of twelve recipients of the Templeton Grant totaling $1.35M, Upper House is utilizing funds to host a variety of events, courses and cohorts. HPP 2.0 is providing study centers with the resources to cultivate an atmosphere of spiritually driven learning and practical faith application in scholarship, leadership, student engagement, and a variety of other contexts.
The Higher Pursuits Project 2.0 (HPP 2.0) flows from the success of the 1.0 version (HPP 1.0) which has influenced over 1,500 students and over 400 university faculty, administrators, and ministry leaders.
